
Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Solano County Water Agency, 6040 Vaca Station Road, Bldg. 84, Elmira, California 95625 no later than 2:00 p.m. on August 24, 2010 for the following work:
SOLANO COUNTY WATER AGENCY – TEST CONJUNCTIVE USE PRODUCTION WELL
The work consists of furnishing and installation of a vertical turbine well pump for irrigation water supply for a recently competed well bore near Reclamation District 2068 (RD 2068) Pump Station 3. A well with a 16-inch diameter casing in a 28-inch diameter boring to completed depth of 458 feet has been previously constructed by others. The production capacity of the well is 2,000 gallons per minute (gpm).

Each Proposal submitted in response to this invitation shall include the cost of all work, labor and materials to complete the project. It shall, furthermore, include all materials and labor of whatever kind required in regard to providing adequate sheeting, shoring and bracing of excavations.
The bids will be opened in public at the above mentioned prescribed time and date. Award will be made upon further review of all proposals, however, the Agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in the bid, and to postpone the date of bid opening. In all respects, the successful bidder shall comply with requirements of law pertaining to public works contracts.
