Solano County high school and middle school students and their teachers can win up to $1,500 in cash in Solano County Water Agency’s 10th annual video contest.

The 2020 Water Awareness Video Contest is challenging students to create their own H2O TUNES (the 2020 contest theme)—a video featuring water efficiency tips put to music. Students can rap them, sing them or say them to music. They can use any type of music (rap, pop, rock, show tunes, country, jazz, world, classical or something else). They can use background music in videos or sing acapella. They can even include school choirs or bands—get creative and have fun!

Judging will be based on entertainment value and originality, videography, style and organization, audio/sound, and movie content and accuracy, including whether the video incorporates the 2020 theme.
